He entered the tournament in order to steal the Sacred Treasures (and powers) of Kyo, Iori, and Chizuru. Like Kyo and Iori, he wields flames, although his are green and it's unknown how he obtained them. His past and motives are a mystery, save his connection to Elisabeth (whom he affectionately nicknames 'Betty', much to her annoyance). The main protagonist of the Tales of Ash saga.
